Proving the worth of their multi-skilled training, our 3rd year students make their mark beyond conventional libraries: at radio stations, research institutes and community resource centres.
Mnqobi Ngcobo works on the DALET database system, transferring and integrating digital music library resources and programming for Ukhozi FM. With him is supervisor Hamesh Seegobin of the SABC.
Dinesh Brijbal is also working on the SABC DALET implementation at Lotus FM.
Senzo Ndlela has created a database at the Community Law & Rural Development Centre (CLRDC) for the more effective delivery of resources to para-legal practioners in rural communities.
Cynthia Funeka with Debbie Sharratt of East Coast Radio. Cynthia has been assisting with the station's re-organisation of its music library.
Musa Khumalo has been working at the Oceanographic Research Institute (ORI) Library located at Durban's landmark Sea World.

Mthetheleli Baqwa is central to the dynamic Deutsche Bank Securities Business Information Services team, assisting senior researchers to meet the information needs of bankers from the fast moving world of finance.
